Position Description
As Account Manager-Project Sales, you will be required to identify opportunities to develop new business within assigned accounts, expand existing business to targeted market potential, and cross-sell AgreeYa service offerings.
Responsibilities will include
Cross-sell AgreeYa service offerings.
Achieve assigned revenue and direct margin objectives.
Develop strategic partnerships with customers. Coordinate with AgreeYa subject matter experts r.e. targets/customers within an industry.
Develop and implement account plans and strategies, including targeting new accounts.
Develop and maintain customer relationships in penetrated account while actively pursuing new opportunities and leads.
Work closely with delivery and recruiting teams throughout the sales process.
Generate qualified leads through marketing campaigns (cold calling, emails) and relationships.
Meet sales pipeline requirements to build a growing and predictable revenue stream. Document planning and sales activities (i.e., sales calls, customer events, new orders, starts, etc.).
Share market intelligence and knowledge with members of AgreeYa’s industry verticals and operations.
Lead customer prospecting, site presentations, negotiations, contract development, account reviews and account development plans. Identify prospective customers and opportunities that align with the company’s core competencies and offerings.
Act as a liaison between prospect/customer and AgreeYa’s vertical industry executives and service areas as necessary.
Present sales opportunities to management and internal teams, and work with team to deliver and close large and/or complex sales.
Ensure that Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Produces sales/business forecasts demonstrating the development of existing business accounts and the acquisition of new business.
Research and keep abreast of assigned industry trends, technological and process changes, new developments, services and other general information related to assigned markets. Recommend strategies to continuously strengthen competitive position in markets.
Ability to travel up to 75% required
Requirements
Knowledge of assigned service offerings and applicability to various industries.
Well-developed skills in prospecting customers, building relationship networks, growing sales and closing deals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare and edit communications, present advanced service offerings, and articulate solution benefits to a variety of external and internal audiences.
Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship management skills, plus effective listening and persuasion skills.
Strong problem-solving, analytical and strategy skills to analyze customers’ needs, research business solutions, develop sales strategies and respond flexibly to contingencies.
Knowledge and understanding of the structure of large business organizations and the technical needs of their respective cross-functional groups and external customers and suppliers.
Ability to analyze and understand individual customer’s needs and various business processes/models to pitch and deliver integrated cross-platform solutions.
Strong management skills to coach, train, negotiate and mentor team members internally as well as within customer environments.
Education and Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or with an academic concentration in marketing, communications, or business management is preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience demonstrating proven success in prospecting customers, building relationships, growing sales and closing deals including executing a solution selling process and complex sales cycles with senior/executive level management.
