![]() ![]() Since its founding in 1999, AgreeYa has established itself as a leading provider of technology, consulting, and outsourcing services to customers worldwide. AgreeYa provides services through its O3 delivery model, leveraging its Global Delivery Centers in the US, India, and Mexico, and maintains a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction. The company provides solutions and services to all major industry segments of the global economy, including distribution and logistics, energy and utility, financial services, healthcare, public sector, software and high-tech, telecommunications, and travel. Soltius Infotech is a global IT solutions and services company which has a formidable IT footprint in 13 countries across the globe: Australia, Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United States, and Vietnam. Headquartered in Singapore, Soltius is an award-winning SAP solutions provider with additional competencies in Microsoft and Java technologies. Their solutions offerings include customer care and billing systems, ERP, supply chain management, B2B integration, and mobile solutions. AgreeYa has partnered with India-based Soltius (Soltius India) on various technology projects since 2001, from mobile application development to SAP and web development engagements. In an effort to continue building competencies in their Java and Microsoft practices, along with the opportunity to expand their global presence to Europe, AgreeYa pursued the acquisition of Soltius India in 2008. Following this acquisition, AgreeYa continued its aggressive growth plan and expansion into the Middle East, India, and Asia-Pacific. For the past year, AgreeYa has been working with the Bangladesh operations of Soltius (Soltius Bangladesh) on various technology engagements for customers such as Bangladesh Bank, AB Bank, and Unique Group of Companies, to implement enterprise and banking solutions. As a mutually beneficial direction for both companies, the strategic decision was made for AgreeYa to acquire Soltius Bangladesh and establish its 4th Global Delivery Center (GDC) in Dhaka. AgreeYa’s new GDC in Dhaka will become the complementary hub of offshore development services to its GDC in NOIDA, India. They expect to employ 500 ICT professionals in Bangladesh over the next three years. The Bangladesh GDC will also become a regional hub for global IT staffing services and has already begun deploying Bangladeshis to implement solutions in the Middle East and Far East Asia. This will be a major breakthrough for the ICT sector in Bangladesh, and AgreeYa has drawn an extensive plan to tap into the local pool of talented resources for its GDC and global IT staffing services as a major source of revenue. AgreeYa has been working with the Bangladesh operations of Soltius (Soltius Bangladesh) on various service engagements for both public and private sectors inside and outside Bangladesh. According to Madhukar Joshi, previous Chairman of Soltius Bangladesh and now the Regional Head of the Middle East and Asia-Pacific for AgreeYa Solutions, “It was a perfect matchmaking for both sides. While Soltius Bangladesh was considering the possibility of a new partnership to further expand its reach and capacity, AgreeYa on the other hand was in hot pursuit for the most competent partner for expanding into the emerging market." Adding to that, he said, “The timing could not have been better. AgreeYa comes with its long radius of coverage ranging from Fortune 500 companies to United States Government. It considered the potentiality of Bangladesh, both as a market and resource destination, simultaneously when the Bangladesh government also took inspiring initiatives in partnership with private sector with a vision towards Digital Bangladesh. It therefore became inevitable for Soltius and AgreeYa to join hands for Bangladesh." AgreeYa intends to make a significant contribution to the national vision of a Digital Bangladesh by bringing its extensive experience with some of the largest governments and conglomerates in the world. As part of the AgreeYa global family, the Bangladesh team will serve our global customers in the areas of eGovernance, ERP, business intelligence, internet and mobile banking, portal and social computing, eLearning, and mobile and embedded computing. By working for global customers, the team will gain exposure to cutting edge technologies and then bring that expertise to the local market to serve our customers in Bangladesh. AgreeYa’s vision is to accelerate the adoption of technology and solutions by bringing tried and tested technology, solutions, and industry templates to the Bangladesh market. AgreeYa has defined a multi-pronged market strategy for AgreeYa Bangladesh in terms of offerings:
